Krumich Mock Draft 1.0

Well Well Well folks. It's about time isn't it. With a few NFL games under our belt let's get into the first mock draft of 2024.

1) Bears: Caleb Williams QB

Right now, Caleb Williams is QB1… but Drake Maye is shrinking that gap at a rapid rate. Williams has some of the same issues as Fields; he doesn’t take the easy way, and Williams always looks to make the play. However, his accuracy and arm are on a different level than Fields. That’s why I think Chicago will move on this spring.

2) Broncos: Drake Maye QB

Mr. Unlimited’s crazy ride with the Broncos ends sooner than expected. Drake Maye has taken steps to close the gap with Caleb Williams for QB1. He has improved greatly in his flaws from last year, taking what is given to him by the defense and trusting his arm. If Williams isn’t careful, Maye could end up QB1 this spring.

3) Vikings: Quinn Ewers QB

I know I know... 3 QBs in a row, but it feels like the Kirk Cousins era is OVER in Minnesota. Justin Jefferson wants to win, and Kirk doesn’t move the needle. Quinn Ewers is emerging as the number 3 quarterback in the class. He is making better decisions and has become more threatening in the run game. Ewers has always had the talent but is now putting it all together as the main focal point of the Texas offense.

4)Bears: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR

DJ Moore is not an NFL #1 WR… but he’d be a damn good number two for Marvin Harrison Jr. Currently (subject to change), Harrison Jr. is the highest-graded WR I have ever scouted. He has it all: the speed, the hands, and the route running. I can’t wait to see him at the next level.

5) Chargers: Kool-Aid Mckinstry

JC Jackson is not working out and is a true number 1 CB is clearly missing from a star-studded Chargers defense. Kool-Aid McKinstry is THE premiere DB in all of college football. Nick Saban has only ever had two true freshman starters at outside CB for Alabama: Patrick Surtain II and Kool-Aid Mckinstry.

6)Raiders: Olumuyiwa Fashanu

The Raiders need pillars of a franchise, and Olu Fashanu can be their guy for 15 years. Olu Fashanu is an incredibly athletic, big, and fast offensive tackle. He has all the potential in the world to become a force in the NFL.

7)Cardinals: Jared Verse

The Cards end up in QB no man’s land and end up with a good edge rusher instead. Verse could (and probably should) have come into the draft last year and been a top-ten pick; that's how talented he is.

8)Titans: Dallas Turner

It's the same story as the Cards. The Titans end up in QB purgatory but land an extremely talented edge player for the future. Dallas Turner was Will Anderson's counterpart for most of his college career but is a bonafide star at Alabama now that he is THE GUY.

9)Bengals: Joe Alt

You guys remember that meme of Burrow getting hit and Chase being open that was everywhere during the draft that year. We can finally put that to bed by bringing in Joe Alt. Alt is a workhorse and is constantly playing at an NFL level in college. There are no flaws in his game, realistically.

10)Jaguars: Jer'Zhan Newton

Jer’Zhan Newton was a mid-20 pick for me not too long ago. Through 4 weeks, he has played his way to a top-10 pick. He is strong, consistent, and cerebral with his movements in the pass rush and run-stopping game.

11)Jets: J.C. Latham

J.C. Latham has been one of the few positives on the Alabama offense. He's a powerful and large tackle, but that doesn’t mean he has sloppy feet. I don’t understand how someone his size moves the way he does.

12)Patriots: Keon Coleman

I said this when Jayden Reed was a prospect last year. I can’t believe Michigan State had both Reed and Coleman. 6’4 WR who moves like a slot guy but catches like an X. I absolutely love his game and am so glad he is getting his flowers.

13) Cardinals: Rome Odunze

Every week I watch Rome Odunze and every week I am impressed. The guy is just unstoppable, and everyone knows it. He could end the year as WR2 for this draft class.

14)Giants: Malik Nabers

We all know the Giants NEED WR help. Malik Nabers is in the thick of the WR2 race, and the Giants would be a better team if he were on their team right this second.

15)Rams: Demeioun Robinson

Chop Robinson continues to prove that he is worth a top-15 pick week in and week out. He is THE guy at Penn State and has been causing the whole B1G problem.

16)Saints: J.T. Tuimoloau

JTT, as he is known, makes a great defense unstoppable. I really like the way JTT plays, but I don’t think he can get drafted above some of the other EDGE rushers in the class.

17)Buccaneers: Shedeur Sanders

Sanders has proven he is an NFL-level prospect at Colorado. The Jackson State transfer is making smart decisions and has all the talent in the world. He has the choice of coming back for another year, so I am reluctant to put him higher than this.

18)Cowboys: Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

MOVE MICAH TO EDGE FULL TIME. Trotter is better at real MLB jobs than Parsons, and you will have a generational EDGE if you make this move.

19)Packers: Graham Barton

Jordan Love looks really good, but protection has been an issue. Graham Barton is so good and would be a staple for Love. A guy like Barton is all the offense is missing to be super competitive.

20)Texans: Brock Bowers

Getting Stroud weapons should be the goal of the Texans draft this year. He already looks like a legit QB, and getting him Brock Bowers would fast-track his development while Texas builds a roster.

21)Bills: Emeka Egbuka

If the Bills don’t win the Super Bowl or come close, I think the Diggs era is over in Buffalo. Josh Allen still needs a WR1 to be successful, and Egbuka can be that guy.

22)Commanders: Riley Leonard

I am a huge Riley Leonard guy. He is the smartest QB in college football at this current moment. He also has the arm and the wheels to be a legit franchise QB. The QB class he is in will hurt his draft position, but he is a high-level talent.

23)Seahawks: Maason Smith

Seahawks fans have been BEGGING for an interior defensive lineman, and Maason Smith is a difference maker. Feels like a match made in heaven.

24)Ravens: Kalen King

Kalen King is very good and deserves to be drafted higher than this. I couldn’t find a good home for him… but the ravens are PERFECT. They need an infusion of youth at the CB position.

25)Lions: Cooper DeJean

Cooper DeJean goes here for 2 reasons. A) Feels like a Lion. B) I want to see him and Brian Branch fly around and make people hurt.

26)Chiefs: Nate Wiggins

I'm sorry, but the Chiefs DBs don’t do it for me; they don't move the needle. I wanted to get Mahomes a new WR, but they need a certified CB1 so badly, and Nate Wiggins is too good to miss here.

27)Falcons: Bralen Trice

The Falcons so desperately need defensive playmakers, and Trice is that. He is a superb athlete who has a very deep pass-rush bag.

28)Colts: Amarius Mims

Mims is going to be a long-term NFL starter. Getting Anthony Richardson a reliable tackle is so important for the Colts

29)Steelers: Cooper Beebe

I would love this for Najee Harris and Kenny Pickett. They desperately need Cooper Beebe. He plays OT right now, but he is a long-term IOL, and they need him there.

30)Eagles: Kingsley Suamataia

Just build depth as this OL continues to age. Draft guys who can play can play 2 OL positions. Kingsley can do that, but he is also just a really solid football player.

31)Dolphins: Sedrick Van Pran

Listen, folks. The ONLY hole in the Dolphins is the interior offensive line. Van Pran is perfect for McDaniel and perfect for the now MVP-level QB Tua Tagovailoa.

32)49ers: Andrew Mukuba

As is well documented on Twitter and the We Ball Podcast, I love Mukuba. There was no way he wouldn’t crack the first round. I love him up top and as a box safety. Line him up and let him fly. San Francisco will love having a weapon X in the defensive backfield. Clemson's Uncle Drew can be THE GUY.
